HOW IT WORKS.

🏃‍♀️ WhatsApp-Based Programme: Receive 3 runs each week in our group. Complete them at a time that suits you. You’ll never run alone – we’ll be cheering you on from your phone.

💬 Direct Support from Lucy: I’m in the group with you, checking in and answering questions. Think of me as your coach, hype woman and accountability buddy all rolled into one.

👥 Group Accountability & Motivation: Progress together, share your runs, celebrate wins, and support each other. It’s the least annoying group chat you’ll ever be in.

🗓️ 12-Week Journey: We start with more walking than running and gradually build, with easier weeks every 4 weeks. There’s no rush and no pressure. Just progress.

What’s Required From You.

Commitment to the weekly group rhythm is key.

You don’t need to be fast, fit, or perfect. Just willing to show up, do your best, support others, and trust the process.

We’ll meet you where you’re at, and help you get to where you want to go.

Who’s it for?

Anyone new to running or coming back after a break. If you’ve struggled with motivation, consistency, or confidence - this is for you.

How long is the programme?

12 weeks. This isn’t a fad or a sprint. We believe in building sustainable habits that last beyond the finish line.

WHAT HAPPENS AFTER THE 12 WEEKS IS OVER?

We will assess what everyone in the group needs next after the programme ends.

Is it all online?

Yep! You’ll complete your 3 weekly runs whenever and wherever suits you.

This gives you the freedom to build consistency and confidence on your terms - with us in your pocket cheering you on, and offering our full support to keep you going.

There’ll also be plenty of opportunities to run in person with Run of a Kind - we’d love to see you at one of our events!

Hi, I’m Lucy! I’ve been running since I could walk and coaching for over a decade. As the founder of Run of a Kind, I’ve helped 1000s of people start (and keep) running.
